How To Fix a Flip-Flop With a Ball Point Pen

Have you ever found yourself in this perilous position – at the mall or a ballgame and your flip flop breaks. What do you do? Do you trash the shoe and play it cool? Do you run into a store and overpay for some shoes you will never wear again just to keep your image? Of course not. You turn into your very own MacGyver and whip out a ball point pen.

First dis-assemble the pen and remove the ink cartridge and tip. Next, using a bench or trashcan, wedge the pen’s tip straight through the broken thong. Once thats through, remove the ink cartridge, making sure to leave the aluminum ballpoint tip and casing behind, providing a perfectly secure shank to make that flip flop good as new – and you not looking like a homeless dude.
